AJ Johnson, the owner of AJ's of Chicago, is a legend on the Chicago beauty scene who is on a mission to take his beauty empire to national prominence by servicing a more elite clientele, which already includes such names as Jennifer Hudson and Angela Bassett. The eccentric staff of AJ's includes former model Katrell, fish-out-of-water small-town guy MaCray, veteran stylist Valincia and Q, AJ's cousin whose primary focus at the salon is to make money, as evidenced by her nickname of the "Money Honey."
